Can shingles be repaired in winter?
Yes. Below about 40°F the sealant strip will not bond alone, so we hand-seal every tab.
Should I repair the roof or replace it?
Repair when the damage is local. When curling and granule loss cover whole slopes, replacement for widespread damage is the better call.
Can you repair a roof with two layers of shingles?
Yes, with nails long enough to reach the deck. A broad failure on two layers means tear-off.
